What does PUE measure?

Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) measures how efficiently a datacentre uses energy as a ratio of the energy used by the IT equipment as a percentage of the total energy used by the facility (including cooling). PUE = Total Facility Energy / IT Equipment Energy
