At Renewable Energy Supplies we strive to ensure your are happy with your purchase(s) and that we have exceeded your expectations.

1.0 Warranties

Renewable Energy Supplies provides a comprehensive warranty on all the goods and services supplied under our sales terms and conditions.

1.1 UK and Eire Warranty

The standard warranty is stated on the formal quotation provided or the specific product page on our website. The warranty period and terms are provided on a back-to-back arrangement with the original equipment manufacturer and supplier.

The standard warranty includes the product, consumable parts and spares where the product has been used and installed as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and our sales terms and conditions.

The standard warranty period may range from 12-36 months (product specific) and runs from the invoice or despatch date on our sales invoice (whichever document is issued first). Warranty from commissioning date is available for project installations made by Renewable Energy Supplies by prior-arrangement.

The standard warranty can be extended for certain products up to 60 months (5 years) and may include the batteries where installed. Prices are available on request.

1.2 International Warranties

Outside the UK and Eire, the standard warranty is 12 months (unless stated differently for the installation country) on the Renewable Energy Supplies website product page or formal quotation.

1.3 Warranty Extensions

Extended warranties are available for some products up to 36, 48 and 60 months (3, 4 and 5 years respectively). Extended warranty options and prices are stated where available. Prices are on application.

1.4 Warranty Replacements

Should a product require attention or replacement under warranty Renewable Energy Supplies will arrange a 24 working hour swap-out or engineer site visit as recommended by the manufacturer. If your installation has a maintenance contract with Renewable Energy Supplies the contract may cover a 24 clock hour swap-out or engineer site visit.

2.0 Returns

If you decide that you want to return your goods for a credit and refund, the Renewable Energy Supplies team service team will manage this through a formal process in the company Quality Management System (QMS).

2.1 Returns Policy

Customers within the European Economic Area (EEA) who purchased from the Renewable Energy Supplies website are protected by the UK government Distance Selling rules. This means that you have 14 calendar days from receipt of the ordered items to cancel because you changed your mind.

For customers outside the EEA and who want to return goods purchased from the Renewable Energy Supplies website, returns must be by approved and a full refund is not guaranteed.

2.2 Faulty or Transit Damaged Goods

Upon receipt of any goods Renewable Energy Supplies recommends a visual inspection of the packing and then the items inside. Any suspect goods must not be connected, tested or commissioned

If you receive damaged or faulty goods please notify the Renewable Energy Supplies service team within 3 calendar days in writing (contact us) or by raising a support ticket on this website.

On receipt of your notification Renewable Energy Supplies will advise whether a replacement device will be sent and the original goods collected or whether an engineer will be sent to site to inspect the goods.

2.3 Return Procedure

Renewable Energy Supplies cannot accept goods for return if a Returns Number is not shown clearly on the packaging.

To obtain a Returns Number and the address to return the goods to please contact the Renewable Energy Suppliesservice team or raise a support ticket on this website.

The goods to be returned must be re-packed into their original packing and made secure, with correct address labelling and display of the issued Returns Number. Please enclose a copy of your original delivery note or sales invoice.

If the original packing is not available or is damaged, suitable packaging may be made available by Renewable Energy Supplies.

Once received your goods will be inspected and a credit/refund issued as approved by the inspection engineer and administration team.

2.4 How Long Does It Take To Process A Return?

It can take up to 14 calendar days from the date of your return for your goods to be delivered back to a Renewable Energy Supplies warehouse or regional service centre and processed.

When received, your goods are booked-in, inspected and checked as fast as possible.

If approved and accepted, the necessary internal paperwork is processed for a refund or replacement. All or any funds returned should be within 7 days. If you do not see the refund within 14 days please contact us to investigate further.
